About File Haven Core
Founded in Seoul in 2019, File Haven Core provides offline wallet custody logs and structured seed phrase checkups for long-term holders.
Our Registered Business
File Haven Core Co., Ltd. was established in 2019 in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. We operate as a specialised consultancy focused on offline cryptocurrency wallet custody documentation and periodic security checkups.
Our registered office is at Office 11, 57 Sample-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 00000. We serve clients throughout the Seoul metropolitan area and accept remote planning sessions for holders elsewhere in Korea who can travel for on-site verification.
How We Started
The firm began when our founding practitioner — a former bank vault operations manager — noticed that several acquaintances had lost access to cold-storage wallets not because of hacks, but because backup locations changed, metal plates corroded, or family members could not locate recovery materials after a relocation.
File Haven Core was created to give holders a structured, offline process: a written custody log that records where backups live, when they were last verified, and what still needs attention — without ever storing seed phrases on connected devices.
What We Do
We conduct in-person and office-based sessions where clients verify their own recovery materials. We document the state of backups, check physical storage conditions, review inheritance instructions, and schedule follow-up checkups. We do not manage funds, execute transactions, or hold private keys on behalf of clients.
Our Practitioners
Soo-yeon Park leads custody review sessions. She spent twelve years managing secure document storage for a financial institution before specialising in offline wallet documentation. She holds a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/A) credential relevant to handling sensitive client materials.
Jae-won Kim handles recovery planning engagements and coordinates the checkup calendar. He previously advised family offices on succession planning and now focuses on translating those practices to self-custody contexts.
Working With Clients
Every engagement starts with a confidential intake call. We explain exactly what happens during a session, what you should bring, and what we will never ask you to do — such as typing a seed phrase into any electronic device or photographing recovery sheets.
We respond to new inquiries within two business days. Most annual reviews are scheduled two to four weeks after the initial contact.
