Recovery Checkup Planning

What We Plan Together

Recovery checkup planning answers practical questions: If you lose access tomorrow, what steps would someone follow? If you relocate internationally, which backups travel and which stay? If a family member needs to recover funds, do they know where to start without guessing?

Deliverable

A written recovery checkup document that describes:

  • Step-by-step recovery procedures (without containing seed phrases)
  • Contact list for trusted parties
  • Location map of backup materials (descriptive, not GPS coordinates of hidden items)
  • Scheduled re-verification dates
  • Known gaps requiring future attention

Process

Intake (1 hour): Discussion of your current setup, family structure, and concerns. Can be conducted by phone.

Documentation session (1–2 hours): In office, we walk through your stated recovery steps and test whether they are complete. We identify missing information — for example, a passphrase hint that only exists in one person’s memory.

Delivery: Printed recovery plan within five business days. One revision included.
